Information on the processing of personal data at Hightec MC AG


With this privacy policy, we inform you – within the meaning of Articles 19 and 20 of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) of 25 September 2020 – about the processing of personal data by Hightec MC AG (hereinafter referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”). This also includes the collection of personal data.


This privacy policy is solely intended to provide information about the nature, scope and purpose of the use of personal data.


As a Swiss company, the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP) applies primarily. Where persons in the EU or EEA are affected, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies.


By using our website or our services/products, you agree to the processing of your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy.


If you transmit personal data of other persons to us, please ensure that they have been informed of this privacy policy and that you are authorised to pass it on.


If you do not agree with this privacy policy, please do not use our services/products.

2. Processing of personal data in connection with services


If you obtain services or products from Hightec MC AG, the following personal data may be processed:


  • Salutation, surname and first name of the contact person

  • Company name and UID number

  • Billing and delivery address

  • Email address and telephone number

  • Products and services ordered

  • Information from quotations and orders


This data is processed primarily in order to carry out your orders correctly, ensure communication with you and handle billing.


3. Processing of personal data in connection with enquiries


3.1 General


Even if no direct contractual relationship is established, the principles of data processing apply (see section 2).

3.2 Email correspondence


Email is not a secure means of communication. Sensitive data should ideally be transmitted in encrypted form. Anyone who contacts us by email does so at their own responsibility. We assume that you agree to the use of email to respond to your enquiry.


3.3 Contact form


If you fill in the contact form on our website, we use your information solely to process your enquiry and answer any follow-up questions. The data is not used for any other purpose and is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 31 FADP and Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for persons in the EU.


3.4 Document requests


If you request documents such as design rules or company presentations via our form, your details will be used solely to process and deliver the requested documents.


4. Disclosure of data abroad


Personal data is generally processed and stored in Switzerland. In the course of fulfilling an order, data may be transferred to recipients abroad, in particular in the EU. This only takes place where it is necessary for the performance of the contract or where you have given your consent. We ensure that an adequate level of data protection is guaranteed abroad, in particular through the conclusion of standard contractual clauses or transfer to countries with an recognised level of data protection.


5. Website, cookies & embedded services


This website is hosted on the Framer platform. For technical operation and presentation, we use exclusively integrated Framer functions:

  • Cookies: We primarily use technically necessary cookies. These are essential for the basic functions of the website (navigation, security) and cannot be disabled.

  • Google Font API: To ensure consistent display of fonts, this website uses the Google Font API integrated by Framer. This technically requires a connection to Google servers.

  • Google Maps: We embed map material from Google Maps (via Framer integration) to display our location. In doing so, Google may process data (e.g. IP address).

  • Framer Analytics: We use Framer Analytics for internal, anonymised analysis of website usage. No personal data is stored or passed on to third parties.

  • Cookie banner: Our banner offers options for categories such as "Marketing". As we currently do not use any marketing trackers or advertising cookies, your selection in these categories currently has no effect on data collection.

  • External links: When you click on external links, you leave our area. We accept no responsibility for the data protection practices of external providers.


6. Retention periods


Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose or as long as legal obligations exist.

  • Business data: Subject to the statutory retention period of 10 years.

  • Enquiry data: If no subsequent contractual relationship exists, deletion takes place after a maximum of 2 years.

  • Framer Analytics: In accordance with Framer's system specifications, this anonymised data is automatically deleted after 90 days.


7. Rights of data subjects


You have the following rights in particular:


  • Information about your personal data and the purpose of processing (Art. 25 FADP)

  • Rectification, deletion or restriction of processing (Art. 32 FADP)

  • Objection to processing

  • Right to a legal remedy before the supervisory authority (in Switzerland: FDPIC)

  • Right to have your data released/transferred (Art. 28–29 FADP)

  • For persons in the EU: the right to lodge a complaint with the competent national data protection authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR


Where legally permissible, we may reject requests or continue processing data for legal reasons.


8. Changes to this privacy policy


We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. It is advisable to review it regularly.
